Just finished a seminar

The last three days I have been down in Yokohama doing a seminar. We stayed at the Yokohama Novotel which is a huge step up from the normal accomodation that we get (dorm rooms in a training center). There was a normal bathroom even, instead of the Japanese unit bath, which consists of a microtub, toilet and sink crammed into a space about 1 meter square. Even better, they had internet access for only 1000 yen for your entire stay! This is incredibly cheap. I was expecting internet access to cost 1000 yen a day. Looking at the rates, the hotel is quite cheap too. Especially for Japan.

If anyone is looking at going to the Yokohama area, I'd recommend this hotel. It is very close to Chinatown and is right across the street from Yamashita park (a park on the ocean). The staff speak very good English as well.
