Sun's shadow shakes Earth causing volcano eruptions and earthquakes

I thought this article was interesting. It says that eclipses cause earthquakes and volcanos to erupt... and then says the recent eclipse wasn't full so wouldn't cause much of anything.... and yet bam, huge earthquake in Pakistan. It would be very weird if there was actually a connection between large earthquakes and eclipses.
