I'm gonna stay at the YMCA...

I realized last night that booking a hotel for when I arrive in HK on the 23rd might be a good idea - especially considering that is next week! Oops. One of my coworkers recommended the Y! Yes, I'm going to stay at the YMCA LOL It is right downtown in the main shopping area (that might be bad!) so I'll be in the heart of things, and I'll have a view of Victoria Harbour - you know, that classic HK view at night of all the skyscrapers. I paid extra for the view, because I figured I should do it for one night. Let's just hope it isn't overcast and rainy (knock on wood)! And I know this is not backpacking it! I decided to treat myself on my first night. I'll be hosteling it when I get back to HK in early January. Unless I win big at the casino in Macau!
