I think I have to zone out from the Katrina news - things just make me more and more upset about the state of humanity ... or rather the lack of it. For example, this article from BBC news talks about women being raped in the Superdome. Now, I really don't understand how this could happen. If I heard a woman's screams while she was being raped, I would go over and try to help her. How can people just sit there and do nothing? To me this is very disturbing.
So, I've decided to stop reading the news. This is why I stopped buying newspapers a long time ago - all the news is horribly depressing. I guess I have to stop clicking on the stories now too.
